As an entrepreneur, I owned a community-centered and award-winning bakery for almost 20 years. Seeking connection within my community was one of the keys to my success. When I decided to transition to a new career, I sought out one that would satisfy my love of working closely with people, especially children, in a creative and fun capacity to achieve their goals while also suiting my extensive skills, experience, knowledge, and high charisma for public interactions. Deciding to expand my knowledge base by earning my graduate degree and becoming a librarian was a well-considered choice and one that I am glad I made every day.
