Learn all about Solar Eclipse Activities for Libraries at our virtual trainings!
STAR Net’s SEAL project is creating hands-on activity guides, science resources, and giving away free solar viewing glasses for the total solar eclipse in 2024. To get your library or library system ready for these awesome solar events we’re hosting a series of virtual trainings throughout in the months leading up to the 2024 eclipse to let you know all about the great resources available through SEAL. We’ll review the SEAL project, go over the contents of the circulating solar viewing kits, demonstrate a hands-on activity, hold open discussions around programming, and more!
Follow the links below to register for one of the virtual trainings. Be sure to submit questions you may have about SEAL through the registration form so they can be answered during the webinar!
Looking forward to seeing you there!

Will trainings be archived in case we can’t attend the offered times?
Hi Gillian!
Yes! We will compile the best of the trainings and release a recording after they are done, so keep an eye out!
Stephanie
Hi,
The times for the SEAL webinar training don’t match the times on the registration form. They are going from the latest time being in the Pacific time zone to the earliest in the Eastern time zone. Thanks! Donna
Thanks for catching that Donna, fixed!
