World Water Day was started by the United Nations in 1993 and occurs every year on March 22. This day is meant to celebrate water and raise awareness of the 2 billion people in the world you do not have access to safe water, and to inspire action towards the U.N.’s Sustainable Development Goal 6: water and sanitation for all by 2030.

We have hosted family programming for World Water Day in the past. As it turns out this year, staff was invited to Rotary to make a presentation. They suggested Pollinators — which we certainly can do and maybe distribute seed packets, or we could do something with our GlowForge — something that our community really hasn’t seen, but, because the Rotary program invitation is on World Water Day, can anyone please offer me a program that I can present to adults — short, maybe 20 minutes or so. I can use PowerPoint. All suggestions very much appreciated.
